Veterinary cardiology treats heart and circulation problems in animals. Your pet may have been referred to our hospital for any of the below concerns:

What to Expect

When your pet is referred to us for cardiac care, our team will start by performing tests and procedures to gain a better understanding of their heart health. We may recommend one or more of the following:

  • Blood pressure check

  • Cardiac catheterization

  • Electrocardiograph and echocardiograph

  • Holter monitor

  • Pacemaker insertion and upkeep

  • Surgery for congenital heart problems

  • Valve surgery

  • X-Rays
