How to Refer a Patient
To make the referral process as easy as possible, we offer the following options:
Referral Portal
The rVetLink Referral Portal gives your team 24/7 online access to your referred patient’s records. Please feel free to contact us at (321) 725-5365 if you have any questions or need assistance logging in.
Fax
In addition to our online referral portal, we're happy to accept referrals via fax. Please fill out our Consult/Referral Form and fax it to (321) 242-5755 with the patient's medical records. You can view the form in PDF format by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat reader.

Phone Consultations
We welcome veterinarians to speak to our board-certified specialists. We are always willing to consult with you on a new case. Our purpose is to help you help your patients, whether that involves diagnostic or surgical advice or potential referral to see one of our veterinarians or specialists. Like you, the health and well-being of your patients is our top priority.
Maintaining our partnership with you is very important to us. We welcome any questions about your patients – current or past, our procedures, and processes, or even suggestions as to how we might better our working relationship. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Transferring a Patient
We are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to provide emergency care. Our specialist care is available by referral appointment only Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00PM. Our facility is fully staffed and equipped to handle minor-to-complex emergencies at any time. Emergency and specialty care is facilitated by the use of the hospital’s extensive on-site resources which includes advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, state-of-the-art operating rooms, a team of board-certified specialists, and on-premises laboratory and pharmacy.
ASEC makes it as simple as possible for referring veterinary hospitals to transfer their patients for overnight or 24-hour hospitalization, and then refer back to DVM for any necessary rechecks.
