Kelsi Early, DVM
Dr. Early joined Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in 2022 as an emergency veterinarian, and enjoys being able to provide emergency services to the pets and clients of Brevard County.
Prior to moving to Melbourne, she worked as a relief veterinarian in an emergency practice in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas area. Professional interests include emergency medicine, nutrition, behavior, and leadership. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the Brevard County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Early attended Texas A&M University where she received her BS in Animal Sciences and became a certified teacher for secondary level sciences. She went on to continue her education at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
Away from the hospital, Dr. Early enjoys spending time with family, baking, and exploring Florida’s many national parks. Dr. Early is the pet mom to rescue animals: a 5 year old Golden Retriever mix named Bailey and a 3 year old Black Cat named Nuggz.
