Dr. Hammett has been an Emergency Veterinarian at ASEC since he graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. He is from Brevard County and attended undergraduate school at UCF where he obtained a BS in Biology. His passion for the outdoors drew him to the veterinary field while volunteering at wildlife rehabilitation facilities, assisting in state wildlife research and experience working in veterinary practices. He is committed to providing a high level of care to all pets. 

Dr. Hammett enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife, daughter, Labrador Retriever River, and Flat Coated Retriever Finnegan.
